Chase Disney Rewards CardChase, the top credit card issuer, and Disney have teamed up to offer discounts through a new rewards Visa debit card, Chase announced today.

The two household names will offer cardmembers discounts on Disney store purchases and some perks at Disney theme parks.

The rewards package includes:

  • A “Character Meet ‘N’ Greet Photo Opportunity” at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland resorts, which comes with a complimentary 5×7 photo; and
  • 10 percent off selected merchandise purchases of $50 or more at Disney store locations and DisneyStore.com – and at select locations at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland.

The Disney Rewards Debit Card has an annual fee of $25. In the first year, cardmembers get the fee amount back in the form of 25 bonus “Disney Dream Reward Dollars” after making five qualifying debit card purchases, Chase said.

“If you love Disney, this is the debit card for you. It helps you get more of the Disney you love – and makes your Disney experiences even better,” says Jenny Cohen, Senior Vice President of Customer Relationship Management at The Walt Disney Company.

Disney is a Dow 30 company, with revenues of more than $36 billion in its most recent fiscal year.
